A Big Thank You

to all those who get the magazine out to the people in the village:

Jill - collects them from the printers in Chelmsford

David - sorts them out and delivers them to distributors

Intrepid Distributors - Margie, the 2 Claires, Elaine, Lynsey, Jackie, Kate, Chris, Fiona, George, the 2 Andrews, Kim and the 2 Sues

Without them your magazine wouldn’t get delivered.

Bins and recycling

Many of us in Goldhanger didn’t receive recycling bags this year. The next bag delivery is due May 2018. If you are running out you can get more bags from:

  • Various local stockists
  • MDC offices, Princes road
  • The collection vehicles carry some bags and give them out if requested.
  • Parish Council, 10 min before any Council meeting at the Village Hall

Additionally, Maldon DC offer an “Assisted Collection” service to elderly and disabled residents who struggle to get their rubbish to the front boundary of their property. This can be arranged by phoning MDC or online.

Goldhanger Jubilee Choir perform ... again!

The annual concert by the Goldhanger Jubilee Choir will take place in the Church on Friday 15th December at 7.30pm.

This years concert is focused on the sea and will contain songs, music and readings both old and new. There will be a collection at the end of the evening that will be divided between St Peter's Church and the RNLI.

Everyone is welcome!
