The Village Hall is available for hire and also has a number of regular events. Information about events and bookings can be found on their website.

Parish Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.

St. Peter’s Church is central to the spirit of the village and the close community here. Services are held on the second Sunday of the month at 10:00am and a family service every other week. Everyone is welcome.

Bellringing practise takes place at the church tower every Wednesday evening between 7pm- 9pm. Newcomers welcome.

The 95 bus runs between Maldon and Tollesbury and is operated by Hedingham Omnibuses.
Bus stops are at top of Head Street, in the Square, and top of Church Street (unmarked - just wait and flag the bus down).

Waste and recycling collection in Goldhanger alternates every other Tuesday.
Food waste is collected every week.
Pink Recycling sacks will be available at the Village Hall before Council Meetings on the second Wednesday of each month from approximately 7pm.
The Mobile Library stops at the Village Hall every three weeks on Wednesdays from 13.10 to 13.40.
